Mailboxes For Pilots

A real U.S. physical address solution for pilots who need a stable residential or business location, not a P.O. Box and not a commercial mail drop.

FAA Regulation - April 2025

Every U.S. pilot license must have a valid physical U.S. address on file.

As of April 2025, the FAA requires all holders of a U.S. pilot license to maintain a current, valid physical U.S. address — and it cannot be a P.O. Box or commercial mail drop. If you live abroad, travel frequently, or no longer have a permanent U.S. address, you need a solution. Monpri’s Pilot Mailbox is a real physical address at a legitimate Brooklyn business location, fully accepted by the FAA. Stay compliant, effortlessly.

Made For Pilots

Built for pilots who need a real
U.S. physical address

Pilots often live abroad, travel frequently, or move between locations. When you need a stable U.S. address, temporary workarounds are not enough. You need something real, clear, and dependable.

Expat Pilots

You can maintain a dependable U.S. address solution even while spending extended time internationally.

Frequent Travelers

Frequent travel makes consistency harder. This helps create a stable address base that does not keep shifting.

Pilots Between Addresses

Relocating, between leases, or living on base? Don't let a transitional period put your license status at risk.

Common Questions

The FAA explicitly requires a physical residential or business address — not a P.O. Box or commercial mail drop. Our Brooklyn address is a legitimate physical business location accepted by the FAA.

Yes — this is exactly who Pilot Mailbox is designed for. We accept signups internationally, walk you through Form 1583 remotely, and forward your FAA correspondence anywhere in the world.

Each year you renew with Monpri, your annual rate drops by $5. Year 1 is $40, Year 2 is $35, Year 3 is $30, Year 4 is $25, and Year 5 is $20. You select the correct year when you renew. Over 5 years you spend $150 total — compared to $200 at a flat rate.

You'll need USPS Form 1583 plus two forms of ID (one photo ID and one proof of address). Customers without a U.S. passport require a notary — we can help arrange that. Full setup guidance is provided after you sign up.

We notify you the moment it arrives, scan it, and forward it to any address you specify — your home abroad, your airline base, or anywhere else. Forwarding is billed at cost via your preferred carrier.
